Green/Teal Ombré

Not that this has step-by-step pictures. Just the finished product and a list of the shades.

Base, whole nail:

Sally Hanson X-Treme Wear: Mint Sorbet

Then mid-shade, 1/3 from bottom to tip:

Wet n' Wild FastDry: Sage in the City

Then dark shade, 2/3 from bottom to the tip:

A bit of dotting with a Sally Hanson black nail art pen to darken the very tips a bit more, then Wet n' Wild Fast Dry: SeaGreena the Teenage Witch

Then over everything to even out the gradations:

Sinful Colors: Irish Green (it's a sort of translucent neon)

Then over that:

Wet n' Wild Spoiled: Show Me the Money (a yellow-green glitter and in retrospect too dark to look good over the mint shade)

Then over that to cover (only semi-successfully) the icky dark polka-dot look from the other glitter:

Sally Girl: Way 2 70's (an iridescent blue-green glitter with a clear base for which Sally Beauty unhelpfully only provides a thumbnail swatch instead of a bottle picture)

Then:

China Glaze Fast-Forward Top Coat over everything.

Also, insert Being Human 4x03, Lost Girl 2x17, and a whole lot of Farmville between layers for drying time.
